Roland Armando Alum

Roland Armando Alum, a New Jersey-based [external] Research Associate in anthropology with the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Latin American Studies, from which he graduated, also received a Post-Doctoral Certificate in management from the University of Virginia. A former Fulbright scholar in the Dominican Republic, he is a Fellow of the Society for Applied Anthropology, a trustee of DeVry University-New Jersey, and the public member of the New Jersey Certified Psychoanalysts Committee. He has taught in the faculties of several colleges/universities in the U.S. and abroad, and has in addition held state and Federal executive and pro bono posts. His over 130 writings –-in English and Spanish— have been published in U.S. and foreign scholarly journals, books, encyclopedias, and newspapers [ralum@pitt.edu].
