Connor Weber Connor Weber Connor Weber is an undergraduate senior at the University of Pittsburgh where he majors in Political Science along with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Latin American studies. In the Spring of 2013 he studied abroad in Cuba for the semester as part of the program Pitt in Cuba. His time there greatly shaped his interest in U.S. foreign policy and U.S. & Latin American relations. He currently works as an intern for Panoramas and is eager to conduct research this summer in Costa Rica.

Consuelo Uribe Consuelo Uribe Consuelo is a sociologist from Universidad Santo Tomas in Bogota, with a master's in Public Health from Harvard University and a PH. D. in social anthropology from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes in Sciences Sociales in Paris. Her areas of research include social policy and social stratification and mobility. She is full professor at the Department of Sociology of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Craig Kauffman craig_kauffman Craig Kauffman is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Oregon, where he specializes in environmental and Latin American politics. He holds a Ph.D. from The George Washington University and was formerly a Visiting Research Professor in FLACSO-Ecuador. Kauffman’s research investigates how the interaction between actors at the global and local levels determines policy responses to environmental challenges such as climate change and ecosystem degradation. He is the author of Grassroots Global Governance: Local Watershed Management Experiments and the Evolution of Sustainable Development (Oxford University Press, forthcoming) and has published in Global Environmental Politics, World Development, Environmental Research Letters, Agricultural Water Management, Peace Review, and Encyclopedia of Political Theory (SAGE, 2011).

She studied issues as: migration's memory; places of memory; dialogue inter generational; and customs.

Dana Cornacchio Dana Cornacchio Dana Cornacchio is a third year undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a Spanish major, a studio art minor, and a certificate in children’s literature. During summer 2018, Dana completed research with the Office of Undergraduate Research comparing contemporary children’s literature from the United States and Argentina. Dana intends to continue researching literature and other Latin American topics throughout her undergraduate career. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a masters in education in order to teach Spanish language in a classroom of her own one day.

Daniel Leon Daniel Leon Daniel S. Leon is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Leipzig, Germany. His doctoral thesis deals with the political economy of violence in Venezuela. He holds a M.A. in Political Science from the American University in Cairo, and a B.A. in International Relations from Florida International University. Leon has also worked as a visiting lecturer of international relations at the University of Los Andes in Merida, Venezuela.

Es experta en políticas públicas, análisis organizacional y participación política de las mujeres.
