Benjamín (Benny) Temkin temkinator Dr. Temkin received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University. He is member of the National Researcher Sytem in Mexico, level 2. His research has appeared in British Journal of Political Science, Political Psichology, New Global Studies, Revista Mexicana de Sociología, Política y Gobierno, Analyses of Social Issues and Public Policy y América Latina Hoy. His field of research includes political economy, sociology, political sociology and political psicology. Currently, he is Professor at Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales-México.

Tobin Richter Tobin Richter Tobin Richter is arising sophomore and anticipates majoring in some combination of English Literature, Film & Media Studies, and Theatre Arts, and minoring in Spanish. He started learning Spanish informally at a very young age and has since then worked off and on with teachers and tutors from Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and Mexico. During his gap year (2018-2019), he spent three months taking Spanish classes in Valencia and Barcelona, which have become two of his favorite cities. Alejandro Trelles trelles33 Alejandro Trelles is a PhD candidate in political science at the University of Pittsburgh. His dissertation is about the formal and informal aspects of electoral autonomy in Latin America and Africa, and the effect that electoral autonomy has for democratic stability. He has fieldwork experience in Venezuela, Mexico, Ghana, Kenya and Egypt. His research interests are bureaucracy, organizational design, electoral institutions, political parties and representation. He has worked as an independent consultant in constituency boundary delimitation for the OAS and as a Principal Investigator in the Public Mapping Project.
