After graduating at the University of Buenos Aires, he obtained a PhD from University College London. He is currently Professor at the History Departments of the University of San Martín and the University of Buenos Aires, and Researcher of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET), Argentina’s highest research public body. He was also Guest Researcher at the CNRS in Paris, and has been invited to teach in other universities in Argentina and abroad. His academic research has been mainly in the field of intellectual history, with studies referring to Europe and also to middle and lower class identity in Argentina.
